my 12 year old male cat has stopped eating and just lays around other than that he seems o.k. whats wrong?

when a cat stops eating it definately a sign of something wrong and should be treated as soon as possible. the only sure way of helping your cat is to take them to the evst as soon as possible. There is no way a diagnosis can be made without a thorough examination.
