5 week old cat wont go to the bathroom

We just got a 5 week old cat and he wont pee or poop and it has been over 24 hours. He seems very active whe nhe is awake. We are very worried any suggestions?

he is very young and normall the mother cat will stimulate the kitten to go to the toilet. It could well be that she needs some help from you.
