7 years old she's stooling

I have a 7 year cat she stooling in the apartment on the carpet; her litter box is clean. An I've haven't moved her box; then she sees my looking for her mess and runs on the bed. I love her and it seems like she knows what she doing

Pooping in the house like this is often due to some form of stress and the defecating around the house is a cats way to make the house smell more like them which in turn calms them down.
