calico cat wieght gain

my calico has started to suddenly gain weight and is meowing all the time even when we are petting her or she is far away from us like in a corner. she lays down all the time and we dont know whats wrong with her. can you tell us what it is?

I am sorry but it is impossible for anyone to diagnose a problem like this unless you are a vet and can give the cat a medical examination. This is the only way you can truely find out what the problem could be. The sooner you can get her checked out the better just in case it is something that needs treatment.
