Carpet..... Cat Poop

Okay hi umm we just got new carpet im our house and the cat isnt used to it and she keeps pooping in every room we got new carpet!what do i do to keep the cat from doing that??

She will need a period of re training this is described at the bottom of this page

Basically it is the smell of the new carpet that is making her do this. I.e it does not sell of her.

You could also if will rub a clean towel over her then rub the towel over the carpet to transfer scent, this should help too.
