Cat has swelled jaw on right side

hello my cat loves to go outside in the summer @ winter but i don't let him go out in the winter because it's cold where we live, i have taken him out lately only holding him for a short time and i open the window where he sits for a few minutes so he can smell the outside. now he has a swelled face on the left side. not alot but enough and he has alittle sleep in the left eye. is this a cold that he has? he's eating good, playing with my other cat the same as always. just a swelled jaw. thanks for taking my question d.v.

Hi well yes he may have an infection there which is causing the swelling. What caused it is difficult to say it may have something to do with his teeth.

i really would recommend taking to the vets as soon as possible, he may need treatment or at the very least some antibiotics.

i hope he is better soon
