Cat Licking Constantly

My cat is 31/2 and has recently started constantly licking his self and sometimes biting....He is very healthy. His fur and skin keep jerking and he keeps shaking his feet like he is in water,,,his sister died of feline aids when she was about a year old..he is in misery...we deflead and bathed him

well it could be caused by several things from parasites to an allergy.

Your best option is to have him looked at by a vet who will be able to say which is the more likely and prescribe the right medicine.

It can be very distressing for a cat with either of these issues so a trip to the vet as soon as possible is advisable.
