Cat loosing fur and getting really skinny.

My cat has got really skinny and it looks like she loosing patches of fur. She looks really gross, and before she got really nasty looking she kept throwing up her food. What do you think this means?

there are a few conditions that I know of that causes loss of weight, they are diabetes. thyroid problems or heart issues.

It may be that the losing fur is connected or it could be a stress issue brought on by the fact the cat is not feeling well.

It is impossible for anyone to diagnose this problem over the internet as you know but in any case the cat needs to see a vet as soon as possible to be able to give them the best chance of a quick recovery.
