Cat losing fur on belly area

My cat has been losing fur on his belly and private areas. Otherwise he is very happy and healthy. Someone suggested fleas but he doesn't have any and I use advantage on an ongoing basis. Any ideas?

Hi
fur lose can be an indication of several things from parasites to a skin allergy. It can even be a sign of anxiety if the cat is over grooming.

Your best option is to have a vet take a look at the area, they may want to do a skin scape to test.

Hope your cat is better soon, it can't be very nice for them with no fur as cats are very particular about their coat etc.
