eat mites vs skin dermititis

my new cat we adopted came home from pound with upper respritory inf, got antibiotics and now has spots on her eats, head that itch and we did skin scrapping and dr says its a skin dermititis. what works on skin dermititis and is it contagious cause now my other female has a few wierd patches that look similar to the new cats?

Hi I'm sorry i am not a vet and would not like to try and give you medical advice specific to this condition. your vet should have told you whether or not the condition was contagious or not. It really does depend on exactly what the condition is .
