floor of house and cat

We are thinkignof getting a cat but there isnt carpet in our house. is that OK? will the cat slip over

Thats ok. I don't have have carpet either and I have two cats. They don't slip over in fact my two love sliding on it when they play.

Don't forget that the best place to get a cat or kitten is a rescue center. They will be healtier and you will be able to speak to the people at the shelter and find out all about the cat.
