gate fell on cat

hello , my 1 year old son pushed the gate down on our new 9 week old kitten, he ate dinner and seem to be ok , but not as playful. is therr any signs i sould watch for to make sure he is not really hurt. I am nervous i am a new pet owner.

Lets hope he is only bruised. make sure your cat is eating, drinking and going to the loo Ok. Also watch for signs of limping. If you think the gate hit him hard and if he is only a smll kitten then it might be wise to get him checked out at the vet for any internal injuries.

he may be feeling a little sorry for himself or as i say have a few bruises. Hopefully he is Ok and will pick back up again in a few days
