Green Ooze

My cat recently has been acting strange. Not going out or anything so last night my mother and I realized she had a bump on the side of her face with a cut in the middle. We figured since it was late we would look at it in the morning. This morning, I was holding him and I thought he threw up. He didn't. It ruptured and green liquid poured out of the cut and the smell was horrible. We cleaned him up and we think he's alright now. What could this have been?

This is normal when a cut or wounds becomes infected. Puss builds up and when it comes out is either yellow or green.

I really would advise taking him to the vets for a anti biotic jab to help get rid of the infection. It sounds rather nasty and may need help to heal and prevent spread.
