HELP! My cat is sheding hair so bad

My cat KallyBlue all the sudden has started loosing so much hair. when i pet her it flies off her by the handfull, she has gotton kinda skinny and her hair is also very dull. Her eyes seem to be redish colored around the outside of her eye, what could be wrong with her?

Hi well fur lose can be a sign of poor nutrition or a hormone imbalance but there may be an underlining health issue which may also be involved.

the best thing to do is take her to the vets to see if he feels that further tests need to be done. the worst thing you can do is to try and guess what the cause is, which could be prolonging any illness which may be present.
