Help! My newly Spayed kitten keeps choking.

Our kitten was spayed 2 days ago. We brought her home today. Everything seemed fine until she tried to eat or drink anything. She wretches/chokes without vomit whenever she tries to ingest anything solid or liquid.

Hi well this does sound unusual and i must admit have not heard of this before. All i can assume is that she may have suffered a reaction to the anaesthetic which has perhaps closed her throat up a bit. the best thing you can do is to telephone your vets for advice, they may have come across this before or they may want to see her again.
