My cat is losing a lot of weight and acting very strange, but i dont know whats wrong with him. can you help?

my cat used to be fat but now he is really light. i dont know why he is acting all hyper when he used to be lazy and not that hyper. i really need to know whats going on with him. thanks for your help, Alexandra.

I would say that it is really important to have your cat checked by a vet as soon as possible, weight loss needs to be investigated as quickly as possible.

My own cat had a thyroid problem and lost lots of weight including muscle, luckily we caught it in time and she is now fine after treatment.
