My Cat Pees all Over my house!

I only have one cat, but I have five dogs. could it be jealousy? He pees in boxes, and my mom thinks its because I dont clean his litter box often enough. She gets really mad at ME. I really dont know what to do. He seems happy, but, am I missing something?

A cat uses its urine as a scent marker and this marker is used when the cat wants to mark its territory and let other animals know this is theirs and also to help comfort themselves if they are feeling insecure in their own home. the fact you have five dogs could be upsetting your cat as he probably feels a little worried sometimes by their presence and also he feels as if they are invading his territory.

Also it is important to keep the litter tray clean as cats don't like using a smelly tray even if it is their own mess. the tray should also be in an area where the cat feels safe, perhaps somewhere where the dogs don't have access.
