What's coming out of my cat's butt??

My cat (2 yr. old male) leaves what look to be tiny yellowish droppings of some sort all over the house. I'm sure they're coming from his butt because they appear wherever he sits or lays down. I think it's very gross, and am considering taking him to the vet. Do you know what his problem could be??

Hi well it is difficult to say having not seen them. The only two things I can think of that would come from this area are worms or pus from an infection.

I would definitely take him to the vets as soon as possible to have this checked out. perhaps even take along one of these yellowish droppings so that the vet can see it.
