give kitten a "replacement", ateddy bear or other stuffed animal that kitten prefers.

Thank you for your reply! He is totally on solid food (wet/dry) and I also mix up and offer them "glop" once a day, which he show no interest in. The suckler,is he 1 of 7 kittens, and there appeared to be no runts. Mama cat was very attentive to all of them, and we still have her. She was quite gracious with the weaning period as well (never denied the kittens or weaned them until approx 11-12 weeks, respectively). We pretty much just seperate them when we see that behavior, and will continue too! Will let you know how it goes :)
