6 month old kitten back twitching and pulling out hair on tail

Hi there,

My 6 month old oriental short hair kitten had a bout of constipation. He started to run around, twitching amd plucking his hair out. Once we got the constipation under control the twitching behavior didn't stop. He is now bald on the base of his tail. The plucking is only on one side of the tail as well. We took him to the vet and they are Going to try bevahioral products - feliway and biocalm.

We just had him neutered and with an e-collar on for 7 days the twitching stopped! Does
This sound behavioral, maybe like a bored OCD?

He's on flea control, he had an xray and a blood panel before his neutering.

Due to his breed he is naturally a high strung cat.

Any suggestions would be great! I would hate for this to be more than meets the eye.
