8 year-old female tabby has big tummy
by Sophie
Hello,
I have two 8 years old female tabbys. They are sisters, born together. They are both pretty small, but one (Violette) has always been very slim, like a panther. However, two months ago we moved into a new house and she got big, quick. Her belly is round and hard as though she were pregnant, which she isn't since they are indoors at all times. A vet told me she might just be getting fat. Now she seems to have a sore anus, no bleeding or anything and her habits haven't changed. I'm worried. The move probably didn't cause it since she's moved a few times in the past, including a plane ride from Montreal 4 years ago. Always with her sister.
