9 month old kitten gone missing

My 9 month old kitten went missing about 3 weeks ago now, we dont live by any really busy roads and we've looked up evry street/every alley way... he's no where!... is this normal for a kitten of his age to go wandering?

You did not mention if your male cat is neutered or not. I ask because if he is not neutered then yes it would be normal for a tom cat to go off wandering looking for mates and also marking out territory.

Although nine months is still quite young some cats develop quicker than others and so it may be that your cat is one of those cats.

Have you asked your neighbours to check their out buidlings? Have you put notices up?
