Cat Question
When Should I seperate my kittens from their mother?
Well there really is no reason to remove the kittens from the mother at all.
The kittens will continue to seek their mother's milk up to twelve weeks of age but during this time their mother will encourage them to eat solid food and will gradually dissuade them from suckling.
In the wild kittens once weaned would start to find their own way in the wild and find their own territory but in a domestic situation this does not happen. However it is important that more kittens are not born otherwise you will soon be over run and
territory fights could be an issue.
