bald butt

Recently I noticed my cats butt is bald around the anus.

Do you know what that may be from?

Hi it could be an infection or an allergy perhaps from mites or fleas. Check ypur cat for any parasites, brushe the fur and look closly at the skin is it irritated in any way?
I would say that a trip to the vets would be in order, it can't be very nice for your cat to be losing fur in this area and they may even be in pain.
