blood coming from cats anus

My kitten was dripping watery blood from her anus this morning, and when she realized it she ran to the litter box and diahreaed all in a puddle. She has not bled since, but she has continued to have diahrea and has even pooped herself without going to the litter box. What is wrong with her? She also acts like she has the hiccups..every once in a while she will thrust her head forward, like she wants to vomit or something. She also hid a few times today, which is characteristic of a cat when it is sick, i suppose.

However there should not be lots of blood and this is a cause for concern and i would definitely recommend that you take her to see a vet and have her checked over. Hopefully it is nothing serious but when ever blood is present in the stool especially if it is lots of blood then it needs to be checked out.
