cat acting odd

I have a 2 and a half year old male cat and he was neutered at 9 months, however he seems to have gone off his food (which is very unlike him) i even tried tuna and he ate little so i know there is deifnately something not right. He is affectionate, but only in the night times; where as he has been wanting non stop cuddles and even cuddling up to the dog, off his own back (which believe me he never does as they get on, but just tolerate each other).

He has also been sneezing a little and shaking his paws a lot and the odd meow, any advice?

well it sounds to me like he may just have picked up a virus or has a cold. this will often put cats off eating especially if they cant smell their food.

My advice is to keep an eye on him, make sure he gets plenty of fresh water to drink and let him sleep this off. If he is not better after 3 or 4 days then I would contact your vet for some advice and possible treatment.
