cat acting strange

hi i've taken in a stray cat that used to live next door to us'but she's been living with us for a couple of months she been fine but lately she's gone off her food and she paces back and forth and cowers in corners alot.

Hi, you have not mentioned if she is spayed or not. if not then this change in behavior could be done to her going into heat.

i always recommend a trip to the vets when a cats behavior changes dramatically like this. It is often a sign of illness and should be taken seriously and looked into.
