Cat acting very strangly

my cat is 8 yrs old and lately she stays climbing on my shoulders and going to sleep right there she always climbing on me like a new born baby ,she never done this b4 she clings to me like a magnet lately

I well she could be feeling a little insecure about something or she may just be one of those very clingy attached to people cats.

Cats do change their habits from time to time and so this may just be a new one.

One thing i always tell people, when a cats behavior changes significantly it may be a sign of some underlining illness, as this is often the first sign that anything could be wrong.

keep an eye on her and see if there are any other chnages, if so it may be an idea to have her checked over by a vet. At 8 years old she is not that old and so should not be suffering from any of the old age illnesses such as blindness or deafness etc but as I say keep an eye on her for any other changes or symptoms.

This is probably nothing more than just a new habit.
