Cat chewing cables

Hi, my cat has a tendency to chew on my electric cords, my computer and phone charger especially. I've replaced my computer charger over 3 times now. Does this indicate a vitamin deficiency at all?

He is also 20 lbs.

Hi no this sounds to me like something called Pica. It is a eating disorder where animals chew non food items. there is no cure from this I'm afraid.
