cat cries when trying to lay down

my 4 yr old cat came home ,he is and outdoor/indoor cat, we live in the country, he didn't eat and went upstairs to bed but when he tryed to lay down, he cried. his eyes are dilated too. he jumped up on the bed and off without crying but everytime he was almost laying down, he would cry. he is on my bed now but eyes open and dilated. he did cry when i touched his belly up by front shoulders.

Yes he is obviously in some pain but the cause of it is impossible to diagnose without a physical examination.

try and keep him still and comfortable until you can get him to see your vet. Make sure that fresh water and a litter tray is close by him so that he can easily get to it.

i do hope the vet can help him soon. its terrible to see a cat in pain isn't it.
