Cat drinking Boiler water

I have found my cat drinking the drained boiler water. Could this indicate he has an iron defeciency and or could it lead to iron overload?

I'm afraid i couldn't say. Cats seem to like to drink water which is not fresh and has a bit of extra flavor and color, from puddle water to drain over flow water. So it may simply be that your cat found this water tasty.

As long as you are feeding your cat a good quality cat food they should be receiving all the nutrients they need.
