Here recently (4-30-10) my cat started slobbering she has been doing it all day. I cant get to her to see whats the matter because she has always been skiddish even when I first got her. She meows all the time and sometimes she will do it when its real late at night. she also does it when i leave to go somewhere. i have two questions to ask you. Why does she meow all the time even late at night? Why is she slobbering all of a sudden?

Hi
the slobbering could be caused by several things, either she has bad teeth or an ulcer in her mouth or she has eaten something which has caused an irritation. Also coming into contact with catnip can cause some cats to slobber. however if would definitely say that she needs to see a vt as soon as possible if the sobering continues.
As for the excessive meowing, well night time is the normal time for cats to be active and meowing can be part of their normal night time behavior. however there are other causes. if she is elderly then she could be suffering from dementia or could be having eyesight problems both would cause her to be anxious at night time and cause her to meow. Please see these tow pages for more on this behavior.
