cat gagging

i have a stray cat that came here a month or so ago so im not sure bout shots and all should have already had done but havent yet but she was a really big eater not she wont eat and shes constantly gagging and making choking sounds and clenches her teeth it does look like she could be pregnant is this a sign of worm investation thank you

Hi kris,

I really think you should take this cat to see a vet as soon as possible. A stray cat could have picked up all sorts of things and it really is best to have her fully checked out and treated in one go.

her behavior could be caused by worms but equally it could be caused by being anxious ie. eat as much as possible because not sure if they will
get another meal.

It really is better to have her checked by a vet than to try and guess what could be wrong, it will be healthier for her and also perhaps for you too, as you don't know if she has got parasites etc.
