Cat goes on kitchen table while eating.

How can i get my cat from going on the kitchen table while eating dinner it's so hard to have a nice and quite dinner with out her begging for table food i say no but dont know if its working do i keep on saying no and put her on the floor please help?

unfortunately once this sort of behavior has been learned it can be a difficult habit to break.

You can either do what you are doing, by putting her on the floor straight away when she jumps up, do this in silence. Silence is a negative reaction, if you speak to her or even say no then this is a positive reaction. See my page about cat discipline here

Your other option is to shut her out of the room when you are eating.

Our old cat was a little like this, it was our own fault as we had given her scraps in the past. However with our new cats we have not done this and they do not beg for food when we eat.
