Cat Going Lick Crazy

My 4 yr old female cat is licking all of the hair off of one spot near her rectum. She is hiding in the closets and trying to go under the bed. Please give some advice...

Hi sounds to me like she may have worms or a parasite problem in that area which is causing her some distress and so she is licking that area to try and relive the discomfort.

She really doe need to go to the vets to have a proper examination and for medication.
