cat has abandoned me

we moved 1 month ago and my cat won't come in my room at all. she stays with my mom. she has always been very attached to me and thats gone. i am very upset about this. i have tried locking my mothers door at night but she went to the couch not me.

I know how you must feel but in my experience cats are quite changeable in their moods and also in their likes and dislikes. Having said this i doubt it is anything to do with you and more to do with the place ie your bedroom. She may simply not like it, who can tell sometimes with cats.

i have two male cats and since they were kittens they have changed over and over again their favorite sleeping places and also they used to sit on my lap now they don't and then sometimes they will. What can I say, don't take it personally.

Perhaps try to associate your bedroom with the cat with good things, perhaps give her a few treats in this room, or play with her toys their etc.
