Hi
You say you can't see him suffer but you have not taken him to see a vet yet.
His behavior is definitely not normal but it is impossible to diagnose the cause over the Internet.
He may have epilepsy but seizures can also be caused by many other illnesses too.
The pooping in the house would suggest that your cat is feeling unwell and this sort of behavior is their way of trying to make the house smell more like them and this in turn helps to calm them down.
Your best option is to get him checked by a vet as soon as possible. Vet medicine these days is very sophisticated and so many illnesses can now be easily treated.
Don't wait any longer, take your cat to the vet and find the true cause of his problems.
At the very least it will give you peace of mind.
I hope he is better soon
