Hi
any behaviour like this is caused by an instinct. It may be the hunting instinct and hiding her prey or it may be the instinct of hiding kittens etc.

This sort of behaviour does not necessarily mean that they are missing hunting or having kittens etc, it is just something that their instinct tells them to do, a sort of imaginary game, like when a child plays imaginary games.

It really is noting to worry about. I used to have a male cat that would take my watch, carrying it in his mouth and hide it in his bed.

cat instincts are powerful and to us sometimes baffling but there you are, you've got to love them.

Believe it or not, sometimes they are just like humans. They want thier blanket, simply where they wnnt to put it. That is his or her spot they are claiming. GOOD LUCK
