Cat Hiding

my 8yr old cat has been hiding behind our washer for 3 days now.she wl not come upstairs at all. she is an indoor cat. she eats if i bring food and water to her but wl not come out.

She may have dsicovered a mouse hole or something that has her interest behind the washer.
If it were me i would stop bringing her food to her as you are vgiving her no reason to come out. Leave her food ij the usual place, make sure she access from the room with the washer and wait, if she is able to walk and she is fine in every other way then she will come out to her food when she is hunfrey. cats are intelligent animals and will not starve themselves deliberately.
