Cat hurt shoulder

my cat hurt her leg around the shoulder region about 3 1/2 weeks ago, she came home limping i watched her for a few days, the limping got better and for the past week she has been laying around not eating as much not sitting with us. I was feeling her shoulder last night and she has a large lump going from the chest around the shoulder to the back and her whole leg is fatter than the other front leg. Could it be broken?

It sounds to me like it is either broken or dislocated. in either situation she needs to see a vet urgently. The injury if not treated properly could cause her discomfort for the rest of her life.

It really is a good idea to have her checked as soon as possible you just don't know what could be going on in there. She may even have an infection starting which could be the mass you can feel.
