cat ill after going missing

Hi Just wondering if you can tell me what could be wrong with my cat she is 8 years old and went missing for three days she returned yesterday looking very ill. She has lost a terrible amount of weight, wont eat or take fluids, and is very drowsy. She seems to b sleeping alot and she smells really funny. Her back to paws look a fraile. Can you please tell me what this problem could be.

unfortunately there is no way i could properly diagnose the problem with your cat. however having been outside for three days, she may have picked up an infection from another animal, she may also have eaten something poisonous or bad.

Either way i would strongly recommend that you take her to the vets as soon as you can. the sooner she is treated the better the outcome.
