Cat in first heat.

My 6 month old kitten, is going through her first heat. How long will it last, and will she have the clear liquid every time she's in heat? And is there a way to stop the liquid, till I can get her spayed? I can't get her spayed till a month from now.

there is no way to stop the discharge as it is a natural part of being in heat.
