CAT IS 4 YEARS OLD WILL NOT DRINK WARTER OUT OF BOWL HE HAS A URIN INFECTON

try adding a small amout of milk to the water, this sometimes encourages them to drink. You could also try different containers. My cat will only drink from a glass. I know this sounds strange but she has always preferred a glass to a bowl. cats are funny like that.

Also you could try feeding a mix of dry and weyt food togeather. the dry food can make them thirsty and makes them drink.

When I first got my cat she has terrible urine infections all the time. In the end we fed her only dry kibble which made her thirsty and she drank. When the infection cleared up we fed her a mix of dry and wet food and the infections never came back.
