cat is displaying weird behavior

My cat recently got flea's very badly, she was ripping her hair out and was extremely uncomfortable. We treated her, and the flea's are gone now but she has been acting very strangely since. She stays in the same spot ALL day/night, she won't move unless we physically pick her up and move her. She also barely eats or drinks her water, even when we sit her in front of it. She has lost some weight but not a significant amount. I'm very worried, what could be wrong with her?

i don't like the sound of that. Fleas can carry viruses themselves, as well as the larvae of the tape worm, they can also they can cause severe anemia too. So it could be that she is suffering from one of these.

whenever a cat stops eating or drinking properly it is a definite sign that something is wrong and which needs treatment from a vet. So the sooner you can take your cat to the vets the better.
