cat is dripping saliva (WATERY NOT THICK). No outword behavorial problems or odors. CAT IS 15 YEARS OLD and has no previous health problems

have you checked his teeth or had a vet take a look at them recently? i ask as cats need to have their teeth checked regularly to prevent tartar build up of to have rotting teeth removed. this could be the cause of the dribbling.

The other option is that he may have something stuck in his gum or may have lost some teeth naturally and it has made him dribble. My old cat would dribble bit when she sat on my lap, i think hat was due to contentment and the fact she had a few teeth missing.

If I wer you I would book him in for a check up at the vets to make sure that his teeth are ok or that their is nothing stuck in his mouth.

best wishes Kate
