Cat is drooling after being neutered.

We picked up our newly adopted cat for the first time this evening. He was neutered yesterday. When we picked him up he was slobbering and sneezing. Is this normal after surgery? Should I take him to vet, and if so, how quickly?

Hi sometimes cats have a reaction to the anesthetic after surgery. he may also have picked up something from the vets like cat flu so yes i would telephone your vet for further advice. he may want to see the cat again to make sure there are no complications.
