cat is gagging and growling

My cat cleo is 10 years old and since a few days she is acting very different.she sleeps all the time and she gaggs when she eat.or try to eat.earlier today she was touching her mouth with her paw and making these growling gagging noises...she wont eat but she tries.she can drink though...tried to get an vet appointment but nothing til wednesday....

sounds to be like she either has a hairball problem

or she may have a mouth ulcer or bad tooth.

There is not much you can do until you get to see the vet. She will be ok as long as she can still drink.
