Cat is meowing deeply, walking slower than usual and raising her behind in the air

Our female cat is meowing deeply when we come near her, walking slower than usual, and raising her bum in the air.

We are worried she is sick. Can you tell what's wrong with her and how we can help her?

Is she spayed? if not then her symptoms could be due to her being in heat. Please see this page for more on this

If she is spayed then her behavior could indicate that she is in some discomfort in her rear end. She may be constipated

However it is always better to have your cat checked by a vet if you think they are in pain or discomfort as their could be other problems which need to be investigated.
