cat licking

well my cat is licking her self alot more than she use too. every time i touch her she need to lick every time my girlfriend tyouche her she licks when we look at her she is licking her self!! it is not normal and i wonder what im doing wrong! is it normal or is there something i can do?!?

Hi It sounds to me like she may be over grooming. This is caused by anxiety and can lead to loss of fur.

Unfortunately it can sometimes be difficult for us to know the cause of our cats anxiety. Also some cats are just more nervous naturally.
