cat lost his voice for two weeks

our cat lost his voice for 2 weeks.got it back.yesterday after he ate he coughed and blood shot out.haven't seen anymore.What could it be?

well he may just have had a sore throat and this caused him to loose his meow. However I dont like the sound of him coughing up blood and i really think you should be considering taking to the vet for a check up. i dont want to say what it could be as there is no point in worrying unnecessarily but it is definitely worth having him checked out. You never know he may have a small bone stuck in his throat somewhere.
